The opportunity
We are currently seeking experienced Managers for our Technology Strategy & Transformation team. This team helps clients create their technology vision and leverage their capabilities to deliver tech-enabled business outcomes such as improved performance, operational efficiency, and transformative employee or customer experiences, while managing risk and complex stakeholder landscapes.
Technology/Digital/AI Strategy
Define technology strategies and roadmaps that align with a client’s business objectives, considering mature technology enablers (ERP, Data & Analytics, Mobile/Digital) and emerging technologies (GenAI, Agentic AI, Quantum) to create business value.
Build technology planning outputs including strategic initiatives, business cases, budgets, etc., to inform executive‑level priorities and decision‑making.
Technology Operating Model
Assess the client’s current technology operating model through objective evaluation of capabilities – talent, sourcing, processes, and technology landscape.
Transform the client’s digital/technology operating model with detailed options and recommendations, using modern delivery methods (Agile, DevSecOps, Product Management, Platform Delivery, Citizen Development, Modern Workforce) and delivery models (internal delivery, managed services, system integrators, global capability centres, hybrid models).
Develop necessary organizational designs, job profiles, and structures to realize the transformation and attract talent.
Enable the client to work more effectively by establishing up-to-date methods, practices, and processes, and shifting mindsets toward product and agile thinking to enhance performance.
Define governance and processes that empower the technology function to perform more effectively in the future.
Plan transition and change initiatives to accommodate the need for technology functions to run, grow, and transform.
Technology Sourcing
Develop sourcing strategies to shape how clients engage the global market for technologies and services, enabling value maximization and risk minimization.
Review and advise on vendor proposals and contracts, identify gaps and risks, and provide informed observations.
Establish governance and processes for clients to manage vendor relationships, ensuring accountability and reducing value leakage.
Your key responsibilities
Your role as a Manager is to act as a trusted advisor to create meaningful impact with EY’s clients and our teams.
Apply a deep understanding of business and technology to solve complex problems and develop thought leadership around disruptive market forces.
Lead end‑to‑end delivery of high‑quality services, ensuring activities meet EY’s quality standards while managing scope, timelines, and client expectations.
Build and maintain long‑term productive relationships with clients and leverage the global EY network to extend firm capabilities to every engagement.
Drive business development by identifying market opportunities and communicating EY’s value proposition; lead pursuit processes, including RFP responses and proposals.
Execute rigorous engagement management, overseeing project economics (budget and margin), detailed work plans, and compliance with quality and risk management procedures.

Ideally, you’ll also
Manage and support business development efforts – sales planning, pursuits, RFP responses, proposals.
Manage consulting engagements – develop & manage project plans, engagement economics, quality and risk management.
Hold a university or postgraduate degree and relevant professional designation (ITIL, Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe, TOGAF, PMP, PRINCE2, etc.).
Be willing to travel as needed – up to 60% of time.
What we look for
Minimum five years of experience with a consulting firm offering management and/or technology services, including a track record in tech strategy and transformation initiatives.
Experience delivering technology strategy and transformation projects such as operating model design, service delivery transformation, tech‑enabled business transformations, value‑creation strategies, and enterprise cost reduction enabled by technology.
Experience leading, managing, and delivering projects in a technology/digital environment, managing external clients/stakeholders and internal leaders and teams.

Salary ranges for this role in Toronto are $110,000 to $150,000.
