Job Overview
Vixxo is seeking a Lead Inventory Control Specialist to work in Los Angeles, CA.

The Lead Inventory Specialist is a hybrid role responsible for both in‑the‑field servicing and managing a small team of no more than ten inventory specialists. This mentoring role will grow into a service operations manager position and includes tasks such as coaching, hiring and training.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Complete assigned delivery work, including sorting, cycle counts, and delivery of inventory per customer guidelines. Meet the customer's SLA requirements, including inspections and completion of all necessary paperwork.

Manage activities between Vixxo, the customer, and inventory specialists, and schedule accordingly. Monitor field employees, interact with customers, organize truck and van inventory, and maintain work site behavior.

Approve timecards, plan and manage coverage, and handle escalated calls.

Hire and coordinate the training of current specialists.

Provide coaching and feedback to inventory specialists and conduct performance reviews.

Perform daily tasks such as reviewing emails, submitting expense reports and time punches, and participating in team calls or chats.

Qualifications & Experience

At least two years of experience in inventory controls and customer service.

Strong organizational skills.

Excellent understanding of general business practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong problem‑solving and data analysis abilities.





Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, and Word; experience working with databases is a plus.

Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with employees and client liaisons at all levels.

A high degree of reliability, commitment, tenacity, teamwork, and creative energy to achieve success.

Proven ability to lead, coach, delegate, and inspire in a positive and effective manner.

Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer support in a fast‑paced environment.

Education Requirement

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands
Employees must routinely sit for extended periods, use their hands for repairs and fine tooling, operate a computer keyboard and telephone. Occasional standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms is required. Employees must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Close vision and the ability to adjust focus are necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Travel
The position requires some travel, up to 25% annually.

Work Environment
Work is primarily performed in customer locations and behind counters. The noise level is usually moderate. Technicians must be able to drive and have a quiet place at home to perform administrative tasks.
