Irpinia Kitchens is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. We prohibit discrimination and harassment of any kind based on race, colour, sex, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, genetic information, pregnancy, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by Ontario's Human Rights Code.
About the Role Reporting to the CEO, the Business Development Executive will drive new business for Irpinia Kitchens. This is a hunter role at its core; you will identify and pursue new opportunities, build a high‑value pipeline, and close deals that expand Irpinia's presence in the luxury residential, multi‑family, and commercial markets. You will also be responsible for elevating the entire sales function: building process discipline, leveraging Salesforce, and setting the standard for how Irpinia goes to market. This is an exceptional chance for a commercially minded sales professional who is energized by building, not maintaining, and who wants to leave their mark on an iconic Canadian brand.
Responsibilities Business Development & Revenue Growth Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across luxury residential, multi‑family, and commercial segments
Build a pipeline within the multi‑family segment by engaging developers and project managers early in the design and specification process
Build and manage a robust, qualified sales pipeline from lead generation through to signed contracts
Develop and execute a go‑to‑market strategy aligned with Irpinia's growth objectives
Lead all aspects of the sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, proposals, presentations, negotiation, and close
Expand revenue within existing accounts while aggressively developing new client relationships
Personally own and deliver revenue targets

Client Relationships & Market Presence Build executive‑level relationships with multi‑family developers, architects, interior designers, general contractors, and high‑net‑worth homeowners
Represent Irpinia at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build brand visibility and generate leads
Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring white‑glove service throughout the project lifecycle
Sales Process & CRM Excellence Champion disciplined use of Salesforce across all sales activities; pipeline management, forecasting, activity tracking, and reporting
Develop and refine sales processes, templates, and playbooks to build a scalable, repeatable sales function
Provide regular pipeline updates, forecasts, and performance reporting to the CEO
Continuously identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and shorten sales cycles
Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Design, Estimating, and Production teams to develop compelling, accurate proposals and ensure smooth project handoffs
Provide market intelligence; client needs, competitive landscape, pricing trends to inform product and business strategy
Align sales commitments with operational capacity to protect Irpinia's reputation for quality and delivery
Qualifications 5–7 years of B2B sales experience in luxury interiors, cabinetry, millwork, construction, or a related building products industry
A proven record of consistently meeting and exceeding revenue targets

Experience selling into multi‑family or condo development projects, with an understanding of the pre‑construction and specification process
Experience selling into developers, architects, interior designers, or general contractors, understanding their buying process and language
Strong Salesforce proficiency; you use CRM as a genuine business tool, not a reporting obligation
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; you're as comfortable in a boardroom as you are on a job site
A self‑starter mentality; you set your own agenda, manage your pipeline proactively, and don't wait to be told where to look
High commercial acumen: you understand margin, deal structure, and how to build a business case
Located in or around the GTA; valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
Willingness to travel and flexibility with work hours as client and project demands require
Required Skills Considered Strong Assets
Existing network within the GTA luxury residential development or high‑end interior design community
Experience with custom millwork, kitchen, or bath cabinetry products
Background working alongside or within a manufacturing operation
Pay range and compensation package Competitive Base Salary ($85,000–95,000 base) + Commissions structure (% of Sales)
Paid vacation
The opportunity to shape the commercial future of an iconic Canadian brand

If you require accommodation, please notify us and we will work with you to meet your needs in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
