Job description

We are looking for a Logistics coordinator for a full time permanent position based in Mississauga.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage all in bond and outbound shipments.

Coordinate Air, Ocean, Road and Rail shipments.

Negotiate rates and source carriers.

Track and trace shipments.

Daily Interaction with inventory

Verify invoicing and approval for payments

Work with carriers to resolve issues , escalate problems when necessary

Prepare and send daily operating reports to clients and management

Assist in obtaining POD's from Carriers

Requirements

Able to meet deadlines in a quick paced workplace

Solid Computer skills in MS Office

Solid Existing relations with Carriers

Outstanding Phone Skills

Outstanding Customer service skills

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Salary: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
Mississauga, ON L5S 1R9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
