Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cook / Kitchen Staff member to join our team. This role involves preparing and serving food in a rapid-paced setting, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling, with a passion for delivering excellent food service to our customers.

Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing surfaces and utensils
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance




Adhere to all food safety regulations and company policies during food preparation and service
Support team members during busy periods to ensure timely meal delivery

Requirements
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen workplace preferred
Living in NL near Conception Bay South
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required

Pay: $16.50-$18.50 per hour
