Responsibilities
Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual needs and develop personalized massage treatment plans
Perform professional massage therapy sessions using various techniques tailored to client requirements
Maintain accurate and detailed treatment records in compliance with licensing and regulatory standards
Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or referrals when necessary
Ensure a clean, safe,
and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation and safety protocols
Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort, address concerns, and enhance their overall experience
Stay current with industry best practices, current techniques, and continuing education requirements to maintain licensure
Experience
Valid registration and licensure as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations
Prior experience providing therapeutic massage services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for new graduates
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to health assessments and treatment planning
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients
Excellent communication skills to effectively explain procedures and address client questions or concerns
