Overview
Seafair Animal Clinic and Ironwood Animal Hospital are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our reputable veterinary practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal health and welfare, along with excellent clinical skills. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative setting where patient care and client communication are prioritized.

Responsibilities
Conduct thorough physical examinations of animals to assess health status
Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in small animals
Perform surgical procedures, including spaying, neutering, soft tissue surgeries, COHAT's ect
Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs
Educate pet owners on preventive care, nutrition, and wellness strategies
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with veterinary standards
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care




Recommend laboratory testing and interpret results to inform diagnoses and treatments

Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
Valid veterinary license to practice in the province of BC
Robust communication skills for effective client interactions and team collaboration
Compassionate approach towards animals and their owners
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with veterinary advancements

Pay: $85,000.00-$175,000.00 per year
