We are seeking a dynamic and experienced DOSA chef to join our vibrant hospitality team! As a Dosa chef, you will play a pivotal role in supervising food preparation, leading kitchen operations, and ensuring exceptional food service experiences for our guests. Duties
Oversee daily food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish served
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a cooperative team environment
Manage food handling procedures in compliance with safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction
Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage stock to minimize waste
Lead by example in food presentation, portion control, and adherence to recipes to uphold brand standards
Enforce food safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health regulations
Requirements
Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting with solid leadership skills
Extensive food preparation and cooking experience across various cuisines and techniques
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced setting
Robust restaurant management skills, including inventory control, order management, and staff scheduling
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure high-quality service
