Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House is one of Canada's leading breakfast chains, rapidly growing country-wide. Stacked is opening its 4th location in Calgary, in the Sunridge area in NE Calgary. We are looking to hire part-time Prep cooks/Dishwashers to our growing team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist with food preparation and handling, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and portioning ingredients
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area
Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
Assist with meal preparation and plating as needed
Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper storage of food items
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen
Qualifications:
Previous experience in the food industry or as a cook is preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
Ability to work in a rapid-paced workplace and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately
Basic understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
