Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care to individuals in group homes. This role is ideal for those passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. Support Workers play a vital role in promoting independence, safety, and well-being through personalized assistance and compassionate support.

Duties
Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
Support with medication administration following proper protocols and documentation
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a protected and hygienic setting
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' quality of life
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including toileting, grooming, and transfers
Monitor residents’ health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals or supervisors




Support residents with dementia or cognitive impairments through specialized care techniques
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed

Experience
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or group homes is preferred
Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring dementia care is highly valued
Knowledge of medication administration procedures is a plus
Caregiving experience including meal preparation and light housekeeping is beneficial
Demonstrated compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
