Job description:

We’re looking for an Inside Sales / Business Development Representative who enjoys building relationships and having meaningful conversations with customers. This is not a high-volume call role—success comes from quality discussions and building relationships with long term customers that will place orders on a regular basis.

You’ll focus primarily on existing customers while also working from a strategic list of target prospects.

What You’ll Do
Manage and grow a portfolio of B2B customers across Canada & the US
Prioritize customers with declining spend, then stable and high-performing accounts
Spend most of your day on the phone having consultative conversations
Identify opportunities to quote products, offer alternatives, provide samples, or coordinate in-person visits
Work closely with the Sales Manager to develop solutions and strategies
Pass customer service and order processing tasks to Customer Service
Track activity, phone calls, quotes, and opportunities using company systems

Organized and accountable
B2B sales or business development experience is an asset, but not required

Schedule
In office Monday to Friday
7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
One hour lunch/break per day

Compensation & Perks
Base salary: $50,000 – $55,000 per year
Performance-based spiffs: $3,000 to $8,000 per year
Blue Cross Health Insurance after 90 days
90-day probationary period
