Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
Ensure that all food is prepared and served according to food safety standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen
Assist with meal preparation for special dietary needs or restrictions
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns
Requirements:
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is preferred but not required
Knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques
Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Solid attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
