Beaver EMS is currently seeking qualified and enthusiastic Advanced Care Paramedics to work for our service.

Beaver EMS is responsible for Emergency Medical Services in Tofield, Viking and other communities in and around Beaver County. Our service provides 3 full time ALS units, with two stationed in the town of Tofield and one in the town of Viking. Beaver EMS provides competitive wages, comprehensive perks, enrollment in the LAPP pension program, $2000 Health Spending Account and recertification of standard qualifications as required (ACLS, ITLS, CPR, PALS).

We pride ourselves on having top of the line medical equipment, such as the McGrath video laryngoscope, Lucas CPR device, Alaris IV pumps and O - two e700 transport ventilators. We also team up with outstanding instructors to provide excellent continuing education and in-service training.

Qualifications:

· Actively registered with the Alberta College of Paramedics.

· Valid Class 4 Driver's License with current driver's abstract.





· Criminal Record check with Vulnerable Sector.

· CPR.

Completed AHS MCP’s, PDIC, ACLS, PALS, NRP, ITLS are considered an asset.

Exercise positive interpersonal interaction with other team members and patients. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be reliable, dependable and capable of working as part of a team. Possess the ability to provide and accept constructive feedback from management and other team members. Willing to participate in public education and continuing education activities

Pay: $40.40-$53.18 per hour

Licence/Certification:
Practice permit with the Alberta College of Paramedics (required)
