Job Summary:
We are seeking a metal fabricator for our shop. The ideal candidate will have experience with machinery including drill presses, bandsaws, brakes presses & milling machines etc. Welding experience will be considered an asset. Candidate will also be trained on the job and as work progresses.
Essential Responsibilities:
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings/blueprint
Fabrication of metal items
Following quality control standards
General shop activities including maintaining good housekeeping
Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Physically demanding, including lifting material up to 20 kg (44lbs)
Good attention to detail
Fast-paced environment
Work indoors and outdoors
Able to work independently and assist others
Good punctuality and attendance
Steel-toe safety boots
