What you will be doing:
Comfortable with all aspects of medical equipment, including oxygen therapy, inhalation therapies, sleep apnea and negative pressure wound therapy products.
Loads and unloads durable medical equipment.
Completes necessary paperwork including daily delivery logs, pick-up and delivery forms and vehicle maintenance logs. Distributes paperwork to appropriate personnel as well as cash handling and balancing
Maintains confidentiality of patient profiles.
Adheres to government and contractual obligations for HHC
Comfortable in many settings including community, hospital and LTC facilities
May clean and assist with the repair of equipment.
Participates in equipment training
This is role is filling an existing vacancy on the team
How you will succeed:
Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
At least one year related experience is required.
Excellent communication, both written and verbal
Customer Service experience
