Providence is seeking a dedicated Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year to support young learners in Calgary. With a focus on children who face developmental challenges, this role encourages adaptability and creativity within a dynamic educational framework. You will collaborate with a team of professionals, ensuring a comprehensive and supportive learning experience for every child.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement educational programs based on Alberta's ECS guidelines
• Provide engaging, play-based learning prospects for children
• Maintain a secure and stimulating classroom environment
• Offer regular updates on child progress as outlined in IPPs
• Supervise and support classroom Teaching/Therapy Assistants
Requirements:
• Education degree from a recognized Canadian university
• Valid Alberta Interim or Permanent Teacher Certificate
• First Aid and CPR certification required
• Experience with children presenting challenging behavior preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills necessary
