Heavy Duty Mechanics - Yellowknife & Tłı̨chǫ Communities - Yellowknife, NT Tlicho Equipment Ltd. is hiring Heavy Duty Mechanics to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and light-duty vehicles in Yellowknife and throughout the Tłı̨chǫ communities. Mechanics will perform preventative maintenance, complete fleet maintenance records, mentor apprentices, and travel to customer job sites as required. What you’ll need Red Seal Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification (4th Year Apprentices encouraged to apply)




4–5 years of heavy equipment repair and maintenance experience
Experience working on loaders, excavators, dozers, trucks, and other heavy equipment
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Valid Class 5 (or higher) Driver’s Licence
Ability to work independently
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lift heavy components and tools
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to travel to customer job sites and Tłı̨chǫ communities
