Role Overview Industry X, referring to Industry X.0 solutions and services that help our Manufacturing clients and beyond revolutionize the way they design, manufacture and utilize products and services. This role drives incremental growth for Avanade and Accenture on the Microsoft platform. As a Technical Architect, you’ll serve as a subject‑matter expert, guiding industry‑specific strategies and insights for clients and internal teams. You’ll be part of the global Industry X core team, supporting regional initiatives to incubate and scale solutions, with a focus on:
Helping clients establish shopfloor connectivity and a scalable OT Data & Platform foundation for new IT/OT solutions and business value‑adding services.
Harvesting, evolving, and industrializing related best‑practice approaches and reusable assets.
Shaping repeatable Factory Data Foundation and Agentic Factory AI & Analytics offerings aligned to market needs and internal roadmaps.
Key Accountabilities Foster market reputation and awareness for Avanade Industry X solutions and services.
Establish and sustain strategic relationships with Accenture, Microsoft, and relevant industry partners.
Enable, support, and coach local teams to unlock and capture Industry X growth opportunities, driving the Avanade Industry X pipeline for advisory services.
Guide bid teams on defining winning strategies and developing tailored solutions and services.
Act as the advisory lead for Industry X projects, defining technical architectures and ensuring value realization.
Create reusable assets and accelerators,



contributing to the continuous launch of recent Industry X advisory services.
Qualifications 5+ years of proven experience in software enterprise architecture, OT/IT integration, and Industrial IoT.
In‑depth expertise in designing Intelligent Digital Twins based on knowledge graphs and AI within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Experience with Microsoft Azure, open‑source services, and integration of independent software vendors (ISVs).
Familiarity with standard ontologies and frameworks in the manufacturing and operations domain.
Functional knowledge of data science, security, and data platforms.
Industry expertise in Discrete Manufacturing (Automotive, Industrial Equipment, Aerospace & Defense), High‑Tech Process Manufacturing (Consumer Goods, Life Sciences), Resources (Chemicals, Natural Resources, Energy, Utilities).
Knowledge of digital and Industry4.0 technologies (IoT, cloud, big data analytics, AI, robotics, additive manufacturing, etc.).
Experience with Digital Twin, Computer Vision, Generative AI / AI Agents / Agentic AI.
Strong knowledge of industry standards such as ISA‑95 and OPC‑UA, with hands‑on implementation experience.
Ability to translate business requirements into plausible technical solutions and communicate complex concepts to non‑technical audiences.
Proficiency in presenting findings and recommendations to C‑Level stakeholders.
Passion for trends and technical/industry thought leadership.
Role Location: British Columbia / Ontario.
Annual Salary Range: $115,000 to $135,000.
