As a key player in the design team, you'll assist in planning production methods, determine manufacturing capacities, and set schedules. Your role will involve close collaboration with senior engineers and technical staff while focusing on enhancing processes and tooling methods to resolve issues and meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Resolve tooling-related challenges with manufacturing support teams
• Assist in optimizing plant layout and ergonomic designs
• Identify and tackle manufacturing process scrap problems
• Work cross-functionally on recent product introductions
• Maintain tool lists and setup instructions
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• Provincial licensing for engineering practices (P.Eng.)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and CAD/CAM software
• Solid problem-solving and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
