Become a pivotal member of the Economic Development Department with Whitefish River First Nation as a Full time Bookkeeper. You'll manage financial records and provide essential administrative support each week.

This one-year term position requires a dedicated administrator with solid bookkeeping expertise. You will work closely with the team to promote sustainable economic growth in the community. Your role includes maintaining accurate financial records, organizing files, and planning community events while supporting both administrative and bookkeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide general administrative support including scheduling meetings
• Process invoices, payments, payroll, and maintain financial records
• Assist in planning community events and stakeholder engagements




• Coordinate logistics for outreach activities and workshops
• Compile financial reports and support grant applications

Requirements:
• Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration
• Minimum 2 years bookkeeping and administrative experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Robust organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of Indigenous governance is an asset
