In this in office role, you will oversee cost accounting functions for various paper packaging operations across Canada and the USA. Your expertise in inventory valuation and financial analysis will support operations and supply chain teams. Collaborate effectively with plant management to enhance productivity, cost control, and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop standard costing methodologies for diverse products
• Analyze production costs across machine-based operations
• Manage inventory accounting processes across multiple locations
• Prepare monthly financial performance reports and KPIs
• Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5–10+ years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting
• CPA or equivalent designation preferred
• Knowledge of ERP systems and inventory controls
• Solid analytical and Excel skills
