Lead impactful prevention initiatives with the Human Services Department in Merritt, BC. As a full time Prevention Program Manager, you'll drive community-led programs and promote culturally secure practices.
In this leadership role, you'll oversee prevention programming, develop strategic partnerships, and address emerging community needs. Your expertise in trauma-informed practices will guide you as you evaluate service delivery and support staff in complex situations. You'll focus on continuous quality improvement and organizational development to enhance services for Lower Nicola Indian Band members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise prevention programming staff effectively
• Coordinate community-driven prevention services and programs
• Monitor and evaluate program outcomes for quality improvement
• Develop annual work plans and operational priorities
• Engage with stakeholders to identify community needs
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Social Work or related field preferred
• Five years of progressive leadership experience desired
• Experience with community-based prevention program development
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and wellness practices
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License required
