Brunel is currently seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion professional to support the Procure-to-Pay workstream through design, testing, and deployment activities. This role will act as a senior independent advisor to business stakeholders, helping bridge current-state processes and future-state Oracle Fusion capabilities. The successful candidate will provide business process and solution guidance, facilitate design discussions, validate proposed solutions, identify risks and gaps, and help ensure business requirements are clearly understood and appropriately addressed. The role will work closely with business leads, subject matter experts, system integrator resources, Solution Architects, and program leadership to improve solution understanding, reduce rework, strengthen knowledge transfer, and support successful adoption of Oracle Fusion.

Responsibilities:

Business Process Design & Solution Advisory

- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders throughout the Oracle Fusion implementation, facilitating current-state and future-state process discussions and helping users understand Oracle Fusion leading practices and standard capabilities.
- Challenge assumptions, identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and automation, and validate proposed solution designs against business requirements and operational needs.
- Assist in evaluating design trade-offs and support recommendation development for key process, solution, integration, and business readiness decisions.
- Provide end-to-end solution walkthroughs and process education to business stakeholders, including how Oracle Fusion modules, integrations, and boundary applications work together.
- Support knowledge transfer between the System Integrator and the business, and identify areas where additional clarification, design review, or business engagement is required.

Design Governance & Risk Management

- Identify emerging risks related to solution design, business readiness, testing, adoption, new requirements, design decisions, and process changes.




- Help reduce rework and snowplowing risk by ensuring design decisions are understood, validated, and appropriately governed before configuration progresses.
- Support governance processes related to requirements, key design decisions, fit-gap assessments, solution reviews, and leadership escalations.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Build strong working relationships with business leaders, SMEs, project teams, system integrator resources, Solution Architects, and program leadership.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions across business and technical teams, translate technical concepts into business language, and escalated issues, risks, and decisions requiring leadership attention.

Testing & Readiness Support

- Support SIT and UAT preparation and execution activities, including review of test scenarios, business process coverage, and validation of business outcomes.
- Support business readiness and change adoption efforts by improving stakeholder confidence in the future-state solution and implementation approach.

Required Experience:

- 10+ years of experience in Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, ERP delivery, or business transformation roles.
- 5+ years of Oracle Fusion implementation experience, with deep knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes including procurement, requisitioning, supplier management, accounts payable, receiving, and inventory-related processes.
- Experience leading or supporting large-scale ERP implementations and working directly with System Integrators, business stakeholders, Solution Architects, and cross-functional project teams.
- Experience facilitating workshops, business process design sessions, fit-gap discussions, solution reviews, testing preparation, deployment planning, and business readiness activities.




- Strong understanding of integrated business processes, cross-functional impacts, ERP leading practices, requirements traceability, design governance, and business adoption considerations.

Preferred Experience

- Oracle Fusion Procurement Cloud, Oracle Fusion Payables Cloud, Oracle Fusion Supplier Management, PeopleSoft and JDE experience, and experience in utility, energy, midstream, or regulated industry environments.
- Strong business process design, facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, analytical, and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to influence without direct authority, work independently in a fast-paced setting, operate effectively in complex multi-vendor project environments, and balance business requirements with practical delivery considerations.

Success Measures

The successful candidate will improve business understanding of the end-to-end Oracle Fusion solution, accelerate and improve the quality of business design decisions, reduce solution ambiguity and unresolved design issues, strengthen alignment between business requirements and solution design, reduce rework and snowplowing risk through better upstream decision-making, and increase confidence within the P2P team regarding the future-state solution and implementation approach.
