Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct month-end financial statement closings
• Ensure compliance with ASPE and corporate regulations
• Prepare and oversee tax filings and regulatory reports
• Implement automated processes within the ERP system
• Mentor junior accounting staff to foster growth
Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA
• Experience with Canadian tax compliance essential
• Familiarity with Big 4 accounting firms is a plus
• Robust Excel skills for budgeting and analysis
