This position requires expertise in ecology, wildlife biology, and natural area management, with at least four years of experience. You'll conduct habitat evaluations, coordinate wildlife sweeps, and mentor field staff to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct wildlife sweeps and biodiversity monitoring
• Mentor field staff on wildlife management practices
• Analyze field data and produce ecological reports
• Update GIS data using ESRI ArcGIS and Survey123
• Collaborate with teams and community partners for stewardship
Requirements:
• Degree in Biology, Conservation, or related field
• Four years of relevant experience in ecology or wildlife
• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license
• Robust communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of wildlife legislation and mapping applications
