Over ten years of experience in environmental planning, particularly in municipal settings, is preferred. You will lead consultations, manage projects, and prepare reports for Council decisions, strengthening Halton's commitment to natural heritage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review environmental studies for development applications
• Manage consultant activities and peer reviews
• Conduct site inspections to evaluate conditions
• Prepare detailed reports for Council meetings
• Liaise with Conservation Authorities on land-use matters
Requirements:
• Four-Year University Degree in relevant field
• Ten years of environmental and land use planning experience
• Membership as a Registered Qualified Planner (RPP)
• Proven ability to present at the Ontario Land Tribunal
• Robust organizational and interpersonal skills
