Embark on a hands-on journey as an Apprentice Mechanic at Green Infrastructure Partners, focusing on maintenance and repairs of essential construction equipment. This role combines in-shop tasks and field service opportunities.
In this role, you will report directly to the Shop Supervisor while mastering equipment maintenance and troubleshooting techniques. You should hold a 421A Certification and be prepared to handle various repairs both in the shop and at remote service sites. Your tools are a must for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair construction equipment on-site
• Participate in on-call shifts for winter operations
• Conduct equipment maintenance in the shop
• Perform adjustments and overhauls as necessary
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients
Requirements:
• Experience with construction and aggregates equipment
• Certification 421A and personal tools required
• Clean driver’s license and valuable driving record
• Familiar with hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
