Responsibilities

The drive to actively source, negotiate, and grow carrier partnerships that support business growth and align with company financial targets.

Accuracy and efficiency in dispatching loads, completing administrative duties, and updating tools like our client’s transportation management system in a timely manner.

Robust problem-solving skills to proactively identify potential issues, create solutions, and elevate when necessary.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to negotiate rates and influence outcomes.

A results-oriented approach, demonstrated through meeting daily targets for quotes, pre-calls, and tenders, as well as driving year-over-year carrier growth.

Self-motivation and accountability-your job isn't done until the job is done.

A relentless desire to win, go above and beyond, and inspire your team through commitment and perseverance.

Experience

2-3 years of experience in carrier sales, dispatch, or logistics operations.

Previous experience with reefer freight is a must.





Proactively identify and qualify asset-based carriers to service recurring lanes and project freight.

Strong knowledge of USA trucking and freight markets.

Execute purchasing strategies that improve margin consistency. You aren't just covering loads; you are buying capacity at the right price point to ensure long-term profitability.

Negotiate standing orders and dedicated pricing with carriers, moving relationships from transactional spot-rates to contract rates.

Monitor market indices (DAT, FreightWaves, etc.) to ensure our client’s procurement costs remain competitive.

Ensure carriers you onboard adhere to service requirements for the specific lanes they service (tracking, equipment quality, on-time performance).

Maintain impeccable records in our client’s TMS (Revenova), ensuring carrier profiles, lane preferences, and rate history are accurate and actionable for the broader team.

Act as the primary escalation point for the strategic carriers you manage, solving high-level issues that threaten the relationship.
