Description
We are looking for a Storage Architect / Specialist to join our consulting team in Calgary for a six-month contract.

This is an onsite position.

As a Chrome Technologies consultant, the candidate will work with our clients to deliver the projects entrusted to us.

Tâches

Assess the current enterprise storage environment and recommend a scalable target architecture using Nasuni, Qumulo, and NetApp technologies.

Design and implement storage, file services, caching, replication, and data protection solutions across on-premises and hybrid environments.

Configure, integrate, and optimize storage platforms to improve performance, availability, resiliency, and cost efficiency.

Lead storage migrations, upgrades, and consolidation initiatives while minimizing operational disruption and data risk.

Troubleshoot complex storage, capacity, latency, connectivity,



and performance issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.

Produce architecture diagrams, implementation plans, operational documentation, and technical recommendations for infrastructure and business stakeholders.

Exigences
We are looking for senior-level professionals with both architecture and hands-on implementation experience in enterprise storage environments:

Robust expertise with:

Nasuni

Qumulo

NetApp (especially caching solutions)

Proven ability to:

Design and implement scalable storage architectures

Optimize performance, availability, and cost-efficiency

Work in hybrid/on-prem enterprise environments

Comfortable working onsite in a collaborative team workplace

Robust communication skills and ability to engage with technical and business stakeholders

Nice-to-Have

Experience supporting large enterprise or energy sector environments

Familiarity with cloud-integrated storage strategies

Previous oil & gas industry experience

Experience with Energy and Utility
