Reporting to the Executive Director, this strategic role focuses on optimizing the Environmental Services department. You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, maintaining the dignity and safety of residents as outlined in the Fixing Long-Term Care Act. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing the quality of resident life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee operational goals for Environmental Services
• Conduct regular inspections and maintain records
• Manage contracts related to facility maintenance services
• Ensure cleanliness and safety across grounds and equipment
• Direct hiring, training, and staff management processes
Requirements:
• 3 years of Long-Term Care and management experience
• Certification in Health and Safety and WHMIS
• Background in Environmental Management preferred
• Robust communication and organizational skills
• Experience with regulatory compliance
