We do have a job opening for UX Designer - Intermediate for our direct client Province of Ontario. The position details are given below:

Responsibilities

Create effective, user friendly and visually appealing interfaces.

Design the overall functionality of the product to ensure a great user experience, iterating upon it in accordance with user‑testing.

Design user interfaces for various projects such as digital displays, publications, media, and other creative materials as required.

Take a user‑centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate the designs.

Conceive and conduct user research, interviews and surveys, translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes.

Leverage AI‑powered tools such as Figma AI or Galileo AI to generate design concepts, wireframes, and UI components; use Google Analytics Intelligence to analyze user behavior; and apply Microsoft Copilot to synthesize user research insights and accelerate content and UX decision‑making.

General Skills

Relevant experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance.

Experience as a UX designer, interactive designer, UI designer, or similar role, designing for web and mobile applications.

Proficiency with design and prototyping tools.

Thorough understanding of the limitations and appropriate use of web development technologies.

Experience in designing online programs with emphasis in the emotional aspects of human experience.

Experience conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, translating them into sitemaps, user flows, user journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.





Experience designing the overall functionality of the product and iterating upon it in accordance with user‑testing.

Experience designing and delivering wireframes, user stories, user flows, user journeys, mockups and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.

Experience facilitating the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user‑testing experiences for digital products optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.

Experience identifying design problems and devising elegant solutions.

Experience making strategic design and user‑experience decisions related to core and recent functions and features.

Experience gathering user feedback to configure existing interfaces.

A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines, managing competing priorities and client relationship management experience.

Hands‑on experience with AI‑enabled design and research platforms, integrating them into the UX lifecycle to improve efficiency, personalization, and data‑driven design outcomes.

Knowledge of network security and network protocols.

Must Have Skills

Experience in leading the design of complex digital services from concept to production.

Expert knowledge of information architecture and interaction design, user‑centered design processes, and user experience principles.

Experience in Figma and Axure.

Demonstrated experience developing key design deliverables such as user flows, wireframes, mock‑ups, clickable prototypes, presentations and reports.

Experience conducting research, user research, and usability testing.

Experience designing online services that are accessible by default; proficiency with design and prototyping software, digital collaboration and web conferencing tools; demonstrates effective use of AI tools to support UI/UX design activities, including generating wireframes and analyzing user behavior.
