Primary Responsibilities
Online Courses and Saskatchewan Curriculum Delivery:
Oversee the delivery of online courses by assigning teaching staff, ensuring they meet the standards of centralized course content processes and the Saskatchewan curriculum.
Collaborate with educators to adapt and implement engaging, effective, and accessible online learning resources.
Monitor student progress in online courses with Online Teachers and Student Support Teachers and adjust strategies to enhance educational outcomes.
Teacher Supervision:
Supervise and support teaching staff to maintain high instructional standards.
Assist with scheduled performance or appraisal reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement through mentorship and guidance.
Career development:
Organize and promote ongoing professional development opportunities for staff.
Ensure all staff members are familiar with and equipped to implement contemporary educational strategies, technologies, and best practices in online learning.
Foster a culture of life‑long learning and professional growth through the completion and annual review of Professional Growth Plans.
Student Progress Reports:
Support and provide assistance with the submission and distribution of accurate, timely, and comprehensive student progress reports.
Work with Online Teachers and Student Support Teachers to monitor student achievement and identify areas requiring additional support.
Communicate student progress or onboarding and registration procedures with parents, ensuring transparency and engagement.
