The role
Junior Electrical Commissioning Engineer/Technologist – Assistant in planning and executing electrical commissioning activities while collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners to bring complex systems to life. Experience with field‑work and a passion for early‑career growth.

Travel Commitment – Approximately 50 % travel, typically 2‑3 week field rotations, with occasional 6‑12 week stays.

Key Responsibilities

Work alongside multi‑disciplinary teams to execute commissioning, troubleshooting, and system hand‑overs.

Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and resource coordination.

Contribute to refining commissioning procedures and best practices.

Provide design feedback to improve future systems.

Represent Saltworks professionally at customer sites.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering, diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, or related discipline.

1–2 years of hands‑on experience in commissioning, fieldwork, or technical project support.





Familiarity with industrial safety standards and commissioning practices.

Exposure to electrical or mechanical systems, instrumentation, or process control is an asset.

Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills with a safety‑first mindset.

Valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
