The Opportunity
Reporting to the Leader, National Casualty and Bodily Injury Claims, you will be responsible for the investigation, negotiation and settlement of Intermediate Third-Party Bodily Injury claims. You will manage a portfolio of Automobile Bodily Injury, Accident Benefit, or Automobile PD Claims of increasing complexity, and will support the team environment by assisting colleagues as needed.

What to Expect

Manage a portfolio of Intermediate Bodily Injury Claims.

Engage all stakeholders, including underwriting and senior leadership, in the effective management of a claim.

Confirm policy coverages, investigate claims to determine liability and quantum, and maintain detailed file records.

Participate in mediations, pre-trials, and settlement initiatives.

Settle claims directly with Plaintiff’s Counsel and instruct Defence Counsel.

Maintain professional, friendly, and courteous interactions with customers, co‑workers, and vendors.

Perform well in a busy operation and remain calm under pressure.

Continuously push the boundaries of your adjusting experience and personal learning.

Be a team player adaptable to a changing environment.

Show robust written and verbal communication skills.

Work independently when required.

What You Bring

University degree, college diploma, or CIP designation.





Minimum 3 years of claims handling experience; auto adjusting experience preferred.

Professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor in all interactions.

Ability to perform well in a busy operation and remain calm under pressure.

Team player adaptable to a changing setting.

Dependable with strong interpersonal skills.

Strong communication skills.

Focus on building engagement and culture.

Proficient in MS Office and strong computer skills.

Bilingualism in both English and French or other languages is an asset.

Licensed in multiple provinces is an asset.

Salary Range
$51,300 - $94,400

This role requires successful clearance of background checks, including criminal checks and leadership references.
