Scope of the Position
The Outside Sales Representative will maintain existing business, acquire new accounts, and achieve profitable daily sales of company products. They will identify additional opportunities within accounts, promote and secure orders from prospective customers, demonstrate products and services, and assist customers in selecting solutions that best meet their needs.

Major Responsibilities

Perform regular and scheduled calls on assigned accounts.

Provide assistance and product support to customers in a timely manner.

Promote Robertson Electric by ensuring each account receives product line cards and other company literature.

Stay up to date on market trends and new products.

Monitor account performance using provided tools.

Coordinate, lead, and attend scheduled sales meetings.

Attend manufacturer training when provided.

Work with the sales team to ensure projects are quoted and tracked accurately.

Work with management to set monthly territory targets.





Ensure approval of sales plans is followed and accomplished.

Collate collections with the credit department and adhere to the company’s credit policy.

Perform special projects as requested.

Skills and Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in the electrical industry.

1–3 years of working knowledge of electrical products.

Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

Results‑oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
