Hatch is seeking an experienced Senior Municipal Engineer to join its Highways and Bridges team. This role emphasizes the design and coordination of essential wet utilities, such as watermains and sanitary sewers, while supporting dry utility layout and relocation planning. You will work closely with stakeholders and contribute to project delivery excellence across transportation infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead wet utility system design for projects
• Coordinate dry utility design in urban corridors
• Manage utility relocation and third-party planning
• Apply subsurface utility engineering principles as needed
• Review and guide technical quality of designs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Qualified Engineer in Canada
• 7+ years in municipal infrastructure projects
• Proven wet utility design skills
• Experience with dry utility coordination standards
