Shifts Available and Hours
Rotating shifts (Days / Afternoons / Midnights) as per production schedule as follows:
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours determined based on operational needs and seniority under the Collective Agreement
What you will be doing
Troubleshoot and repair extrusion and industrial production equipment
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Work with Allen-Bradley PLCs (PLC5 / ControlLogix) to troubleshoot, modify, and support programs
Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring equipment issues
Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with maintenance team members
Required Education/Experience
Certified Industrial Electrician License (442A or 309A)
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial automation or manufacturing setting
Solid communication skills in English (spoken and written)
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (PLC5 / ControlLogix)
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
Experience with AC/DC motors, VFDs, and industrial troubleshooting
Familiarity with CMMS systems and industrial maintenance processes
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Physically capable to lift a minimum weight of 50 lbs
