Rockford is seeking an Estimating Leader to enhance team performance and push the boundaries of cost estimating in Grand Rapids, MI. This full-time position is vital for supporting high-value construction projects.
In this pivotal role within the Preconstruction team, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Preconstruction. Your responsibilities include leading all estimating activities for complex projects, ensuring high-quality and competitive estimates, and guiding team members in enhancing their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with team members to foster a supportive environment
• Direct all aspects of cost estimating activities
• Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs across all trades
• Approve estimates and proposals before presentations
• Support project managers in preconstruction meetings
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
• Minimum 8 years of relevant estimating experience
• Robust leadership and mentoring skills
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam
