About the Role
Join us as a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, where you'll be responsible for the effective management of Operations and Maintenance (O&M;) of Alert site buildings and structures, heating and water treatment facilities, airfield operations equipment, and bulk fuel distribution equipment. Reporting to the Contractor Site Manager, you will supervise trades staff, ensuring high levels of productivity, maintenance of equipment/services/systems, and the completion of all work in a secure, professional, and timely manner.
What You Will Bring
Demonstrated experience in similar facility operations (multi-disciplinary facilities and service functions) in a commercial or industrial setting.
Proven experience in planning, scheduling, directing, and reporting on the safe operation and maintenance activities at the site.
Experience leading and managing multiple skilled trades positions.
Requirements
Journeyman trade, technical degree, or diploma in engineering, facility management, building trade management,
or equivalent education and experience.
Competencies/Skills and Abilities
Solid computer skills using the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, etc.).
Exceptional problem‑solving skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and work well in a changing environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work and contribute well independently and in a team environment.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
Demonstrates initiative and the ability to balance priorities.
Ability to work and live with people of varied backgrounds in an isolated location with harsh weather conditions.
Full Driver's License for eligibility for DND 404.
What We Offer
$27 a day in Isolation Allowance for every day worked on site
Fly-In Fly-Out schedule with 8x8 rotations (8 weeks on site, 8 weeks off site)
40-hour work weeks with overtime opportunities.
