Job Duties

Operates vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to company safety regulations

Conducts routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition

Manages appropriate cargo documentation and provides necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods

Coordinates the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured

Maintains contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport

Ensure customer delivery is met in a timely, safe and professional manner

Skills and Requirements





Possess a Valid Class 1/AZ License is required

Provide 5 years Commercial driving abstract

Minimum 1 year of class 1 driving experience

Must be able to drive a manual transmission

Must be willing to load/unload and be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted

Must be able to work flexible schedules

Must be bondable and legally entitled to work in Canada
