Prairie Co-op is hiring a Permanent Full Time Ag Retail Manager at our Agro Centre in Melville, SK.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Ag retail business, driving sales growth and maintaining solid customer relationships in Melville & Ituna.

Provide day-to-day direction of the Ag Team, ensuring financial, safety, customer sales & service (on farm/in store) and operational objectives are met.

Implement programs and policies, providing operational direction and oversight.

Execute sales strategies, building customer relationships and delivering solutions.

Sell, market and promote Crop Inputs, Grain storage, and Handling solutions within the Melville and Ituna trading area.

Oversee completion and follow-through of all safety and environmental policies and procedures.

Prepare, administer, and achieve budgeted goals related to pricing, sales, margins, expenses, and inventory.





Lead the team, including recruitment, goal setting, performance management, training and employee engagement.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Post‑secondary education in Agriculture or equivalent experience.

Preference for a P.Ag or CCA qualification.

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Honest, trustworthy, and collaborative, with strong relationship‑building skills.
