Datoff Bros. Construction Ltd. is a rapid-growing General Contractor specializing in Commercial, Civil, and IndustrialConstruction seeking a Vertical Site Superintendent.
Responsibilities: Review and execute the work outlined by the construction schedule
Review the project plans and specifications and provide comments on the scheduling, cost-saving measures andpotential construction problems
Assemble the job site office and equipment requirements
Supervise, coordinate and schedule the daily activities of workers and tradespeople
Contact, schedule and coordinate subcontractors, trades, suppliers and utilities
Order materials and supplies
Effectively meet all site-related deadlines
Monitor and maintain the project construction schedule every week
Raise, discuss, and address project issues at the weekly job site meetings
Communicate with the Project Manager on any concerns, changes or issues that directly impact the site on time
Maintain a safe job site and ensure that the requirements of WorkSafe are strictly enforced




Maintain and enforce high construction standards and quality control
Ensure that the site, inclusive of parking lots, common areas and site office, is kept clean, secure and presentablealways
Qualifications: Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Site Superintendent with experience in commercial, civil and industrial projects
Possess strong communication skills
Ability to adapt to changing conditions and proactively develop appropriate means and methods to meet andovercome challenges
Knowledge in Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology and Construction Management
Working knowledge of health and safety programs within the general construction industry
Solid understanding of current construction practices, working knowledge of construction documents, drawingsand specifications
Ability to guide safe work practices in a high-pressure environment
Strong leader, able to communicate clearly and promote teamwork
