Description
We are seeking a seasoned, deeply curious Lead QA Analyst to own the quality assurance process for a cutting-edge cloud gaming platform. In this senior individual contributor role, you will partner closely with developers to understand complex backend requirements, uncover edge cases, and surface technical issues early in the development lifecycle. Responsibilities

Strategy & Testing: Define and execute end-to-end test strategies across the platform tools lifecycle using advanced risk-based, exploratory, stress/load, and chaos testing.

Shift-Left Integration: Embed with development teams early (design, code, and testability reviews) to accelerate feedback loops and prevent defects before production.

Data-Driven Diagnostics: Leverage gameplay telemetry, crash logs, performance metrics, and service health signals to isolate complex bugs and prioritize fixes.

Process Improvement: Lead root cause analysis for live issues, driving automation, CI/CD quality gates,



and AI-powered tool integration to prevent recurrence.

Leadership & Mentorship: Act as an autonomous testing leader, informally mentoring teammates and building strategies for better team processes.

Requirements

20+ years of hands-on QA/QE experience , specifically within complex, ambiguous development settings.

Solid technical diagnostic skills using logs, telemetry, profilers, packet captures, and platform diagnostics.

Game Industry Expertise: Proven experience with game engines (Unreal, Unity) to build test scenarios, plus a solid understanding of gaming architecture, controllers, and complex networking.

Non-Functional Testing: Ability to design and execute load, stress, and performance testing scenarios.

SDLC/STLC & Platforms: Deep understanding of Agile/Live-Ops lifecycles, with experience validating developer platforms, SDKs, APIs, and middleware.

Mindset: A cooperative "culture add" who goes beyond traditional black-box testing to dive deep into backend code and architecture.
