The Fabrication Team Leader will work on the day shift to assist the Production Supervisor and Operations Manager in maintaining and coordinating work of production employees.
Day Shift: Monday to Thursday; 7:00 am till 5:30 pm
Essential Functions of the Job
Working with the Shift Supervisor in achieving daily output
Training of new employees
Provide coaching and support to all team members
Ensure employees are following all safety policies and procedures
Conduct daily team meeting at beginning of each shift to ensure team goals for the day.
Reassign, when needed, employees to work to achieve daily goals upon consulting with Supervisor.
Meet with Team Lead counterparts to share information.
Night shift to leave notes for Dayshift.
Keep Production board updated daily with shift requirements
Coordinating with other departments to ensure company goals are met
Ensure that all product produced is to Schulte Quality Standard.
Spend approx. 10% of time training mentoring and coaching the staff
Working Conditions:
Lifting or carrying 30-50 lbs
Pushing, pulling or dragging up to 50 lbs
Working outside in the elements (Cold, heat)
