Position Overview
We are searching for an energetic, self-motivated Elementary Generalist Teacher to fill a full time temporary position at Green Dome Islamic School. The role is a maternity leave replacement for the 2026-2027 school year with the possibility of extension into the 2027-2028 school year. The specific grade level assignment will be based on the strengths and experience of the applicant.

School Overview
Green Dome Islamic School is located in North East Calgary along Metis Trail. It offers an accredited program of studies compliant with the Alberta Education curriculum, as a Division I-III school, offering a wide variety of learning opportunities including regular classroom studies, foreign language, and computer sciences.

Qualifications





Preference given to applicants with an Elementary Education background.

Holder of a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligible to hold one.

Must provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check prior to commencement.
