What You’ll Be Contributing: Develop electrical system designs for high-, medium- and low-voltage distribution specifically for data center infrastructure;
Switchgear, switchboards and panelboards;
MV-LV gear and transformers;
UPS systems;
Generators, ATS/STS and paralleling gear;
Busways and RPP/whips;
Perform load calculations, short-circuit analysis, arc-flash studies, and coordination studies;
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, or similar tools;
Coordinate with utility provider on incoming service requirements for large-scale data center facilities;
Integrate electrical systems with mechanical equipment such as chillers, HVAC and other data center cooling systems;
Support integration of EPMS/BMS monitoring systems;
Participate in vendor design discussions and review drawings and submittals;
Provide internal support to SCM and prefabrication teams;
Support commissioning activities.
What Sets You Apart: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field;
5–12 years of experience in electrical design or mission-critical facilities;
Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE standards, and relevant local codes;
Understanding of redundancy strategies (N, N+1, 2N, 2N+1);
Familiarity with EPMS and BMS system architecture;
Experience with fast-track design-build environments;
Experience with FAT/SAT testing for generators, UPS, and MV gear;
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills;
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, or similar tools;
An essential component of this position is regular and consistent business travel, mainly to the United States. It is a requirement of this position that the candidate satisfy the applicable criteria set by the US Immigration and Nationality Act for business travel to the United States, which criteria include, for example, the ability to demonstrate that they are a citizen or national of a country that is eligible for the Visa Waiver Program or are otherwise visa exempt.
