Job Description Responsible for monitoring and analyzing equipment fleet utilization, costs, and performance. Maintains fleet data and reporting systems, supports asset onboarding/offboarding, coordinates equipment chargebacks, and provides operational insights to optimize fleet management and support business decision-making.
Responsibilities Perform weekly equipment fleet tracking, including hours and locations of utilization, fuel usage, and downtime
Maintain daily database of equipment utilization data, ensuring discrepancies are identified and cleared as needed
Communicate with Project Teams regarding weekly equipment charges to projects
Administer fleet database, assisting with onboarding/offboarding exercises for new equipment
Assist Corporate Fleet Manager in preparing ad-hoc analysis related to equipment costs and usage to support critical decision making, including rent/buy decisions, selling of underperforming assets, fleet changes.
Support Construction Operations with understanding equipment costs, making recommendations for adjustments to equipment costing as required
Support Maintenance Team in building key workflows to better capture raw data in support of future analysis and decision-making
Prepare and deliver monthly/quarterly asset utilization reports to Senior Management
Participate in monthly Equipment meetings and tracking following up issues for the team
Qualifications Business Management or Data Analytics Degree/Diploma preferred
Open to New Graduates
Construction industry experience not required but considered an asset
Robust Excel skills required:
o XLOOKUPS, SUMIF(S), VSTACK, HSTACK, UNIQUE, FILTER, ETC.
o Pivot Tables, SparkLines, Splicers, etc.
o Candidate may be asked to perform Excel assessment as part of hiring process
PowerBI considered an asset but not required
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite needed
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
This role is a backfill position.
Salary range between $70,000 to $95,000 per annum. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.
