Bluedrop Training & Simulation is seeking a creative and detail-oriented 3D Multimedia Developer who is passionate about designing and producing high-quality visual content for eLearning solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create engaging, interactive, and impactful courseware that supports complex training initiatives.

Qualifications

Diploma or certification in 3D animation, graphic design, or a related field (preferred)

Minimum of 2 years' experience in multimedia or 3D development

Strong proficiency in 3D modelling tools (e.g., 3ds Max) with experience creating:

Machinery

Heavy equipment

Complex systems and internal components

Control panels and detailed assemblies

Experience creating and optimizing 3D assets for real-time game engines (e.g., Unity, VBS2, or similar).

Ability to follow technical guidelines, standards, and structured workflows

Ability to learn new industry techniques and software packages and integrate current workflows in a fast‑paced environment

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Ability to obtain Government of Canada security clearance

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including:

Photoshop

Illustrator

Animate

After Effects

Premiere

Experience in any of the following,



while not necessary for the role but would be considered an asset:

Unity 3D

VBS2

Experience maintaining or migrating legacy Flash/ActionScript content

JavaScript and HTML5/CSS

Articulate Storyline

User Experience (UX) design

Adobe Substance 3D Painter

Responsibilities

Develop, model, and render high-quality 3D assets, including:

Complex interior components

Hard surface models

Systems requiring a high degree of accuracy

Optimized, low-resolution assets

Perform UV unwrapping and create efficient texture maps

Apply textures based on reference materials and design requirements

Light and render 3D assets for both static and animated outputs

Edit video content and export in standard formats (e.g., MP4, HTML5)

Create interactive HTML5 learning content

Contribute to concept development and visual design strategies

Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, Instructional Designers, and Media Developers to support project goals

Assess and recommend the most effective approach for developing media assets (e.g., stock assets, custom development, or hybrid solutions)

Interpret and execute media requests

Ensure all deliverables meet established project standards and quality guidelines

Follow defined workflows and production processes as outlined by the project standards

Provide accurate level‑of‑effort estimates for assigned tasks
