BayCare seeks an Oncology Data Specialist focused on upholding high standards in cancer care data management. This full time, hybrid position requires local residency for participation in essential on-site meetings. You will abstract, code, and analyze cancer registry data to ensure complete and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and maintain cancer registry information from records
• Capture oncology case demographics, diagnostics, and treatments
• Prepare necessary materials for tumor board meetings
• Collaborate with Oncology Data Center leadership for accreditation compliance
• Undertake other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience in cancer registry
• ODS certification required
• 1+ year experience in oncology with an Associate's degree
• Bachelor's degree with ODS certification acceptable
• Local presence for team meetings and support
