Job Overview
The Robotic Welder - Night Shift (5:30 PM – 4:00 AM) will weld and program assemblies on a robotic welder to ensure it meets the ISO:9001:2000 Quality Management System.
Qualifications
Completed at least some secondary school
3-5 Years of experience in welding and programming robotic welders
Valid work permit (Canadian, permanent resident, or foreign national)
Responsibilities
Weld and program assemblies designated for the robotic welder
Edit weld programs to improve efficiency and quality
Manually weld inaccessible areas by robot
Properly handle and use jigs and safety equipment
Change out jigs/fixtures in the robot cell
Spot weld assemblies before robotic welder welds them
Clean welds and remove splatter when weld is completed
Identify weldment with assigned stamp
Follow through on the First Part Checked procedure
